Mash the banana until mostly smooth- lumps are okay! Stir in oats. You can stir in the honey as-is, or you can warm it for 10 seconds to give it a more liquiﬁed consistency making it easier to mix.
Stand over the sink (we learned this the hard way when our kitchen ﬂoor got the treatment as well as our face!) as you massage the mixture into your face for 30-60 seconds. When any larger bits have made their way into the sink (oh, gravity), let the remaining mixture sit on your skin for 30 mins to an hour.
When time’s up, no need to wash with soap, simply rinse with warm water and pat your face dry.
Your skin will be left feeling calmed, moisturized, and smooth to the touch. You’ll notice a reduction in redness, as well as smaller pores. Repeat once a week to see more and more improvement over time.
