The only DIY face mask that keeps my rosacea symptoms at bay
Prep Time
3 mins

Because the universe has a twisted sense of humor, treatments for acne actually make rosacea WAY worse! Many acne treatments are drying which is the worst possible thing you can do to rosacea-prone skin. Drying your skin out will actually inflame it even more and cause further breakouts. So what’s a gal to do?

Get yourself a soothing, anti-inflammatory face mask to calm your skin and alleviate flare-ups!

I tried a handful of different DIY masks to try and help my rosacea and this recipe is the result of about a year of trial-and-error for what works for my skin. Everything in this mask is meant to battle the two key culprits that trigger rosacea flare-ups: inflammation and bacteria.

By the way, this mask isn’t just for those suffering from rosacea! This mask is an extremely soothing anti-inflammatory designed to balance, restore, and baby your skin, no matter what skin issues you may have.

Keyword: Dry skin
Type: Facial Mask
Level: Beginner
Amount: 1 mask
  • 2 tsp Oatmeal
  • 3 tsp ACV
  • 2 tsp Plain yogurt greek is best
  • 1 tsp Raw organic honey
  1. Mix all ingredients until combined. Brush evenly onto face; oatmeal tends to make this mask feel gloopy so don't worry if it’s not smooth. Sit with the mask on your face for about 15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry and follow with a mild moisturizer.
  2. I like to do this mask at night because the ACV does smell a bit strong. Don’t be alarmed if you feel like you smell a bit like salad dressing, the calm, smooth, breakout-free skin is totally worth it!
